About Lettre.app - PenPals for life

Ratings & reviews

We are back again after being busy behind the post office counter! This update brings MORE polish to your letter-reading experience, a new home for helpful videos and a few quality-of-life improvements to make sending and receiving lettres feel a little more magical. Here’s what’s new: - Full iPhone Duo Support: Lettre is now better prepared for foldable iPhone layouts (and the future), adapting as you fold, unfold and move around. Your letters, stamps, and Post Office should feel right at home, whichever way you hold your device. - A better reading experience: All lettres (both Mailbox and PenPal Stack) now fill the screen, just the way a handwritten letter should. Zoom in to admire every little detail, swipe between lettres more smoothly and say goodbye to those awkward white flashes and loading pauses. Handwriting deserves all the spotlight, more now than ever. - Post Office & Tips Glow-up: Our Tips section is now a video gallery! Browse helpful videos, tap to watch, and go full screen when you want the complete experience. Whether you're a Lettre veteran or the new PenPal on the block, there's something to learn (and more to find with use). The Post Office Home also has a few new places to explore. Catch up on what's new with Lettre, listen to our original soundtracks (yes, we have more than one!), visit our blog and find us around the internet outside the app! - Your mail, without the mystery: We solved a weird problem where some of our buttons inside the Mailbox incorrectly implied that reading your own mail cost money (which it doesn't). Wondering when your next lettre will arrive? We've made incoming mail a little easier to understand, with clearer arrival times and less confusing buttons. Supporters can still skip the wait with Express Mail perks, while everyone else can sit back and let Pippin handle the delivery. Once again, this is a “time saver”, receiving your lettres does not cost you money lol! - The usual suspects: We've tidied up menus, buttons, notifications, and a handful of other corners around the app. Friend requests are easier to spot, closing screens feels more natural, and a few pesky sign-in and navigation hiccups have been shown the door. We've also squashed a bunch of bugs, smoothed out some rough edges and made sure your account and mail behave a little more politely. We're a tiny team, and every bug report makes a difference. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to let us know when something isn't quite right. Each report helps us make Lettre a little better for everyone. Lettre is 100% independent and ad-free and we have our Pippins Supporters Club members to thank for that! You're the reason we get to keep building Lettre on our own terms, without ads or outside investors calling the shots. We're never in the dark because you keep the lights on our Post Office on. As always, thank you for being part of Lettre. Every letter sent, every new friendship, and every little moment of connection makes this whole thing worthwhile. Now, go write someone a lettre. Pippin has deliveries to make.
