Easily manage your availability anywhere, anytime. Prevent understaffing by providing 24/7 insight into on-duty crew. Flexibly provide coverage to one or multiple fire stations. With the FireServiceRota app firefighters can: - change their duty schedule (availability) at one or more stations. - review upcoming understaffing warnings and act on them. - be notified when they are about to leave the coverage area and forgot to update their (un)availability. What's New Requests Redesign: The Requests tab has been completely visually overhauled. Statuses are spelled out clearly, colors match Website, and the notification badge now only counts requests that require your action. The list also defaults to a new "Relevant to me" filter. Smarter Duty Exchanges: When creating an exchange, you can now filter candidates by group and availability. The detail screen also shows exactly who was invited and how they responded (pull down to refresh). Time-Sensitive TTS: Incident text-to-speech alerts will now intelligently skip playing if the notification arrives too late to be useful. Update Banner: Added an in-app banner to gently notify you when a newer version of the app is available. Performance & UX Instant Schedules: The app now instantly loads your last-viewed rota on a cold start while quietly refreshing in the background. No more waiting on the loading spinner when opening the app. Smoother Scrolling: The underlying schedule engine has been massively optimized. Paging through the Group Rota and On-Call views is now significantly faster, especially for large stations. Bug Fixes Fixed a critical issue where editing your availability could fail or cause infinite loading spinners. Fixed iOS 27 scrolling glitches where the schedule toolbar and timeline ruler would get stuck or drift out of place. Fixed Personal Tiered Response Levels (L1-L4) not displaying on the on-call schedule. Fixed the bottom availability indicator occasionally disagreeing with the timeline schedule. Fixed absence requests occasionally missing certain availability codes.
