What’s new
Version 1.6.0 · Updated October 23, 2026
Auto Scroll for Safari: Glida New: Choose Your Control Panel Glida 1.6 lets you pick how the on-page controls look and work, and remember the choice for each website. Open the extension popup and pick a style: Speed Pill – play and fine-tune speed with − / + right on the page. Full Dock – jump to top, speed, and reverse in one bar. Great on iPad. Progress Ring – see how much of the page you've read at a glance. Edge Tab – a slim tab on the side that stays out of the way of comics and manga. Slider – teleprompter-style bar for precise speed. Dot – a tiny, barely-there button for distraction-free reading. The new panels stay visible while scrolling, so you can change speed without stopping. Classic stays free for everyone; the new panels are part of Premium. Fixes We fixed a bug where smooth scrolling did not move on some websites, especially on iPad. We fixed your floating button colour showing differently in the app and in Safari, and the play icon now stays readable on any colour you choose. Reverse mode now turns around reliably at the top and bottom of a page. Thank you for using Glida! Send us your feedback to help shape future updates. If Glida makes Safari easier to read, please consider leaving a rating or review on the App Store.
