Calculatrix

About Calculatrix

Calculatrix is more than just a scientific calculator — it is your complete mathematical companion designed for high school students, university STEM majors, educators, and science enthusiasts. Combining algebraic power with symbolic calculus analysis, Calculatrix helps you tackle everyday calculations and complex mathematical problems through a clean, intuitive, and distraction-free interface. Two powerful dedicated modes: 1. ALGEBRA MODE (Scientific Calculator & History) • Intuitive expression input with real-time live result preview. • Comprehensive mathematical operators: trigonometry (sin, cos, tan), logarithms (ln, log), powers, roots, nth-roots, and absolute values. • Memory variable storage (→x) to store and chain results across calculations. • Interactive history: tap any previous result to reuse it in your current expression, swipe to delete, or clear history securely. • Clean numerical formatting free of floating-point noise. 2. FUNCTION STUDY MODE (Symbolic Calculus & Plotting) • Interactive 2D graphing window with custom viewport and interval bounds. • Automatic domain determination (e.g., D = ℝ \ {1}). • Exact symbolic derivative f'(x) computation with automatic factoring and common denominator reduction. • Full variation table rendering monotonicity, signs, and critical points. • Asymptote detection (vertical poles, horizontal limits, and oblique asymptotes at ±∞). • Local extrema analysis (exact local minimums and maximums). Key Highlights: • Instant bilingual toggle: switch between English and French with a single tap. • Modern, fluid interface optimized for iOS and iPadOS. • Works completely offline without requiring an internet connection. Whether you are preparing for exams, checking calculus homework, or engineering everyday solutions, Calculatrix gives you the speed, depth, and clarity you need.
