About Okel

OKEL is a neighborhood-scale delivery app. Motorcycle taxis and delivery services, run by people from your own neighborhood. The distances are close, your neighbors pick you up, and the fare is no-negotiation.

Two services, one app

• Motorcycle taxis: depart from your pickup point to your destination.
• Delivery: Drop off packages, documents, or groceries, then receive photo proof upon arrival.

Know the price before you order

• The fare appears on the screen before you press "Book," not after the trip is complete.
• Details are transparent: how much the trip costs, how much the app charges. No late-bird numbers.
• Distances are calculated based on actual routes, not straight lines on a map.
• Pay with QRIS directly from the app, or cash to a partner if available in your area.

The right pick-up point, even without a house number

Addresses in urban villages often don't have searchable house numbers, and the actual guide is "next to the mosque." Therefore, the map displays the names of nearby places, you can drag the pin to the correct point, and you can write the landmarks in your own words. Frequently used addresses can be saved so you don't have to retype them.

While on the road

• See your partner moving on the map, from the pick-up point to the destination.
• Chat with your partner within the app. Your phone number is never visible to them, and neither is theirs to you.
• Share the trip link with your family so they can keep track.
• The SOS button is always visible during the trip, not hidden behind a menu.

You can also save up to three emergency contacts in the Account menu, so the OKEL team knows who to contact in case of an emergency.

After arriving

• Rate the partner who drove you.
• All orders are saved in the Activity menu, complete with cost details.
• Trips you frequently repeat appear on the Home page, so booking again is just a tap away.

What you need to prepare

• Active mobile phone number
• Android phone with GPS enabled
• Internet connection

This app requires location access so your pick-up point is correct and your partner doesn't have to call you just to ask where you are.

Any issues with the app?

Send feedback directly from the Account menu. Your feedback is sent to the OKEL team along with the version of the app you're using, so specific complaints can be addressed, rather than simply being lost.
