bright by PLN Batam

bright by PLN Batam is the official customer service app for PT PLN Batam. Check and pay your electricity bills, purchase tokens, speak with a Customer Service representative, and charge your electric vehicle at PLN Batam brightEV locations all from one app.

Electricity Bills and Usage
• View monthly bills and outstanding balances for each linked Customer ID (IDPEL)
• View bill payment history from the PLN Batam billing system
• Monitor monthly electricity usage via graphs

Pay bills and buy tokens
• Pay postpaid electricity bills, buy prepaid tokens, and pay non-taglis bills via BNI, BRI, Mandiri, Permata, CIMB Niaga, and BTN Virtual Accounts
• The total, bank admin fees, and service fees are displayed before you pay
• Tokens are issued automatically after payment is read, complete with a receipt that can be saved
• Monitor pending payments and their history in the Payment Center
• View recent token purchases, including those purchased outside the app

Customer Service
• Chat with a Customer Service officer
• Video and voice calls with officers during service hours
• Service queue and history of your sessions with officers
• Record your meter readings: send a photo and your meter readings

brightEV
• Register or link your brightEV account
• Find a PLN Batam brightEV charging location and see the ready-to-use connectors
• Scan the QR code on the charger to start charging
• Top up EV Points with QRIS, Virtual Account, or digital wallet
• View balance, EV Point transactions, and charging history

Identity Verification
• Verify your identity from your phone with a photo of your ID card and a selfie
• Verification results are notified via app notification

Notifications
• Notifications about staff messages, payment and token status, verification results, charging, and account security
• Information and announcements from PLN Batam

Security and Privacy
• PIN and biometrics to open the app
• Data is sent over an encrypted connection
• Delete your account directly from the Profile menu
