odeKalk alkalmazás

The Foundation for Health Sciences presents the odeKalk application, developed by the Oxyological Decision Theory Research Group (ODEK) at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Pécs for medical and health science students and practicing healthcare professionals, the digital "Swiss Army knife" of emergency and clinical patient care.
The application aims to provide immediate, evidence-based decision support at the bedside (Point-of-Care) to doctors, paramedics, nurses and medical students. Whether it is caring for a critically ill patient, calculating a complex drug dose or identifying a rare ECG phenomenon, odeKalk is in your pocket.

🚀 MAIN FUNCTIONS AND MODULES:

🧮 odeKalk – Clinical Calculators More than 40 medical calculators and scoring systems that are essential in daily practice.
Neurology: NIHSS, GCS (adult and pediatric), ABCD2, LAMS, RACE.
Cardiology & Respiratory: Wells (PE and DVT), Geneva, PERC, HEART, GRACE, TIMI, PESI.
Emergency: qSOFA, SIRS, MEWS, Parkland formula (burn).
Other: Anion gap, corrected QT, Westley Croup Score, APGAR.

💊 farmakOdek – Intelligent Drug Database Not just a list: an active decision support tool.
Instant Dose Calculator: Enter the patient's body weight and the application will immediately calculate the exact bolus and maintenance (perfusion) doses.
Emergency Profiles: Search by indication (e.g. "Shock", "Anaphylaxis", "RSI") or active ingredient.
Pediatric Doses: Separately listed for pediatric emergency care.

🫀 odEKG – ECG Analysis Wizard Don’t miss a single tiny signal!
Structured Analysis: Step-by-step algorithm for evaluating rhythm, rate, axis position, QRS morphology and repolarization (ST-T).
Special criteria: Sgarbossa (in case of LBBB), Brugada (wide QRS tachycardia), Wellens, de Winter sign recognition.

The smart search engine responds not only to codes and official names, but also to medical synonyms (e.g. entering “heart attack” will give you I21 codes), so you can find the right diagnosis in seconds.
