HS Remote Control

HS Remote Control is a native remote control for virtually any connected TV, designed for those who want simplicity: open the app, it automatically finds your device on the Wi-Fi network, and that's it — no IP address typing, no ads, no registration.

TRUE AUTOMATIC DISCOVERY
The app searches for your device through three methods simultaneously: mDNS, SSDP/UPnP and a scan of your own network's control ports. That's why it finds the TV even when the router blocks multicast — the most common reason other apps simply can't find anything. If it still doesn't appear, you can connect by typing the IP address.

TURNS THE TV ON, DOESN'T JUST TURN IT OFF
Most Wi-Fi remotes can turn the TV off and then can't turn it back on because a TV that's off doesn't respond on the network. Here, the power button also wakes the TV over the network (Wake-on-LAN), without needing the physical remote. It works on TVs that display the network address — Samsung, LG, and Roku — with the "turn on via mobile" option enabled in the TV settings.

ON THE HOME SCREEN AND IN QUICK SETTINGS
A widget shows the last TV used and turns it on or off with a tap, without opening the app. The same shortcut is available in the Quick Settings panel, accessible from within any app.

PRIVACY FIRST
The app communicates directly with your TV via your local Wi-Fi network, without going through any server. No data leaves your phone: no data collection, no ads, no trackers, no account or login. Everything saved (TV list, pairing, and network address) stays only on your device and is deleted upon uninstallation. Voice search uses the Android voice app itself — HS Remote Control doesn't even ask for microphone permission.

ACCESSIBILITY
Interface designed for screen readers: D-pad with real buttons (not just gestures), keyboard navigation, enhanced contrast, descriptive labels, and automatically announced connection states.

LANGUAGES
Portuguese, English, and Spanish — the app follows your phone's language.
