Pick a starting point, a distance and your activity — running, hiking, mountain biking or e-biking — and Trailoop generates loops that bring you back to your start in just seconds, favouring the best trails over tarmac.

• Automatic loop generation
Four activities, a target distance, and the app suggests several round-trip routes, already ranked from best to least suited.

• You choose the terrain
Reorder your preferences: trails, paths, cycleways, quiet roads… Favour or avoid each type of way. Trailoop builds the route accordingly.

• Waypoints
Add one or more places to include in your loop and let the app find the best route connecting them.

• Elevation profile and steep sections
See the climb before you leave; sections too steep for your activity are flagged on the map and on the profile.

• Guided navigation
Follow your route in real time with voice alerts at junctions, a 3D terrain view and automatic recentring. Take photos along the way without leaving navigation.

• Challenges with friends
Turn any loop into a race: every participant starts from their own place on an equivalent route (same duration, comparable elevation), simultaneous start, live ranking during the race, trophies at the finish.

• Route sharing
Send a loop as a link: the recipient opens it in their app, saves it to their favourites and follows it.

• Outing recording
Keep a record of the routes you complete and see your cumulative activity on the map.

During navigation, Trailoop shows a notification and keeps GPS active even with the screen off or your phone in your pocket. Tracking stops as soon as you end the outing or close the app — no background tracking when you're not navigating. Simple, fast and privacy-friendly.
