ControlDiabetes: Carbs

ControlDiabetes is a carbohydrate and carb portion calculator for foods and products, especially useful for people with diabetes. Search for a food or scan its barcode, enter the amount you are going to eat and get a clear estimate of its carbohydrates and carb portions (1 portion = 10 g of carbohydrate).

The main features do not require an account. You can calculate carbs and portions, look up foods, scan products and save your calculations directly on your device.

• Export and import your local data manually whenever you need to.

• Report data that you find incorrect or out of date.
• Check the sources and status of each food before using the information.

Optional account

You do not need to register to use the carb and portion calculator, the search, the scanner or the local history.

When you sign in you can sync your preferences, take part in the community and use the features linked to your profile. Your private foods and local history stay saved on your device.

Optional artificial intelligence assistant

Ask questions about foods, nutrition labels, carbohydrates and portions. The assistant does not analyze blood glucose, does not calculate insulin doses and does not recommend treatments. Its answers are for information only, may contain errors and are subject to usage limits.

Advertising and additional features

The app may show a single non-personalized banner ad. Available in-app purchases are handled by Google Play and may let you remove advertising or extend access to certain features, such as the AI assistant.
