Don't Splash (Backrooms)

Stay out of the water. It's listening.

It begins in a sealed, flooded room. Beyond it lies a vast white pool hall lost in fog, and something lives in its green water. A pumpkin-headed creature that hears every step, every splash, every stroke of an oar, from anywhere in the pool.

Jump across the tiles, keep your feet dry and reach the exit before the water swallows the path.

HOW IT PLAYS
• First-person parkour across tiles over still green water
• One creature, one rule: touch the water and it hears you
• The water is rising: every 2 minutes it climbs higher and the low platforms disappear beneath it
• A fire alarm warns you 10 seconds before each rise
• Watch for sinking plates, slippery ice, bounce pads and floaties that sink under your feet
• Climb out of the water in time and it reaches for you, then gives up
• Too slow, and you'll see its face up close

ENDLESS LEVELS
• Every door opens onto a new pool hall, longer and harder than the last
• Every hall is built differently: new shapes, new traps, new routes

ITEMS
• Throw a rock into the water and the creature runs to the splash
• Silent steps, speed boosts and shields for when it gets close
• Scare everyone: a prank for the whole level

PLAY WITH FRIENDS
• Jump in with Quick Play or set up your own lobby with a code
• Voice chat, name tags and dances
• Find the inflatable boat: up to 4 can board, rowers paddle in turns, and it moves twice as fast as walking
• But it hears the oars too. Every attack rocks the boat, and sooner or later it tips over
