Fatoora

Fatoora is the simplest way for a small business in Israel to issue legal tax documents from your phone: tax invoices, receipts and tax invoice-receipts, in Hebrew or Arabic.

Since June 2026, any tax invoice of ₪5,000 or more needs an allocation number (מספר הקצאה) from the Israel Tax Authority. Fatoora requests it for you as you issue, and prints it on the document. No portal, no separate step.

Arabic and Hebrew are not an afterthought here. Use the app in Arabic, Hebrew or English — the whole layout flips — while every document is issued in Hebrew or Arabic, as Israeli bookkeeping rules require.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Issue tax invoices, receipts and tax invoice-receipts, with allocation numbers requested automatically
• Every document is a digitally signed computerised document (מסמך ממוחשב), marked original (מקור) or certified copy (העתק נאמן למקור)
• Send by WhatsApp: your customer gets a link, agrees once to receive documents digitally, and the document opens right on their phone
• Or send by email, or print
• Issue credit invoices that name the original document and the reason
• Add customers: business, private, foreign or Palestinian, each with the right VAT treatment
• Automatic VAT at 18%, or 0% where it does not apply
• See the month at a glance: collected, outstanding, recent documents
• Search by customer, item, document number or date
• Give your accountant read-only access — and see exactly what they opened and when
• Produce the Tax Authority's Open Format file (ממשק פתוח), or email a CSV of any date range to your accountant

BUILT TO BE TRUSTED WITH YOUR BOOKS
Every sign-in needs a code sent to your phone. The app locks behind fingerprint or face unlock. Credentials are encrypted at rest, and your data is hosted in Israel, as the law requires.

Fatoora is a monthly auto-renewing subscription, billed through your Google Play account and renewing until cancelled. The current price is shown in the app before you subscribe. Cancel any time in Google Play.
