About Backmarker — Dashboard for GT7

Backmarker turns your Android phone or tablet into a real-time data screen for Gran Turismo 7. Connect it to the same Wi-Fi network as your console and the app listens for the telemetry the game broadcasts, decodes it and shows you what the car is doing on every lap.

Backmarker is an unofficial companion app made by a fan. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Sony Interactive Entertainment or Polyphony Digital.

LIVE DASHBOARD

- Pick a reference lap and see a live time delta as you drive
- Position-based comparison, matched by track location rather than elapsed time

TRAINING MODE
- Guided braking and input drills with target windows and tolerance
- Practice consistent inputs away from a full race

PRIVACY
- Telemetry is stored only on your device, in a local database
- Nothing is uploaded to any server
- Crash diagnostics are collected via Firebase Crashlytics (see the privacy policy)

REQUIREMENTS
- Gran Turismo 7 on PS4 or PS5
- The console and this device on the same local network
- In GT7 the telemetry output is enabled by connecting from this app
