Guardia is a bluffing card game for 3 to 6 players set in a Mexican hospital. Each player has two face-down badges, and the patients keep coming in. You can say you're whoever you want… as long as no one challenges you.

HOW TO PLAY
• On your turn, remove a badge or show off a badge to use its power.

• Anyone can challenge you: "Let's see your badge!" If you lied, you eat 2 badges. If you told the truth, the person who challenged you eats them.

With 4 badges, you "go bust" and turn over a badge, but no one is eliminated: the shift continues.

• When all the patients run out, the player with the fewest "gobust" wins.

THE BADGES
• Intern: removes 1 badge and no one delegates it to them until their next turn.

• MIP: "I'll take it," removes 2 badges.

• R1: Passes 1 item to anyone.

• R+: Passes 2 items to a player and bounces any item sent by an R1.

• Attending: Visitor pass; each opponent receives 1 item. Bounces to R1 and R+.

• Head Nurse: Checks another player's ID badge and bounces anything sent to her.
