About AMIA Residente: Bitácora
AMIA Residente is the logbook for Mexican resident physicians: it records your training, validates it with your attending physician's signature, and shows you how you're truly progressing.
WHAT IT IS AND WHAT IT ISN'T
This app is a TRAINING and DOCUMENTATION tool for physicians in training. It is not a clinical app: it does not suggest diagnoses, recommend treatments, interpret studies, or provide medical services. All clinical judgment is yours.
YOUR PROCEDURE LOG
A catalog of more than 1,900 procedures organized by the 27 direct-entry specialties and their 124 subspecialties. You can record your role—surgeon, assistant, observer—in just two taps.
WORKS OFFLINE
The complete catalog is stored within the app. In an operating room or the emergency room basement, you can search and record procedures offline, and everything is automatically uploaded when the network is restored.
YOUR ADVISOR'S SIGNATURE
The doctor who supervised you signs your phone, right there, on the day they visited. Their name and ID number are recorded. Your logbook ceases to be a personal notebook and becomes a record that can be discussed.
YOUR ARCH, NOT YOUR VOLUME
The chart no one else has: what proportion of what you did each year was as a surgeon and how much as an assistant. Not how many—on what paper.
YOUR REPORT FOR THE BOARD
Your complete logbook in PDF, with a summary by role, a summary by procedure, and who approves each one. Ready to print or send.
