Obolus splits shared expenses fairly – for trips, roommates, couples and parties. Enter who paid and for whom, and Obolus works out who owes whom how much. With as few transfers as possible.

No sign-up, no email, no password. Add as many expenses as you like – no daily limit, no ads.

TOGETHER – IPHONE TOO
Invite your group with a link or QR code. Whoever opens it joins and adds expenses themselves – on iPhone or Android. Everyone sees the same thing – and you can see who has already joined and who hasn’t yet. Someone without a phone simply stays a member, and you add expenses for them.

SPLIT THE WAY IT REALLY WAS
Equally, by exact amounts, percentages or shares, with adjustments – or by item: everyone their own pizza, the wine for all, and the tip split proportionally. Several payers per expense work too. Do the maths right in the amount field: “12.50 + 7”.

SETTLE UP FAST
Obolus combines all debts and suggests as few transfers as possible. In the euro area, whoever receives money shows a GiroCode – the other person scans it with their banking app, with IBAN, amount and reference already filled in. PayPal.Me links work too, and in the US, Venmo and Cash App links with the amount already filled in.

EVERYTHING AT A GLANCE
Your balance across all groups, per person and per group. A history shows who added or changed what. Deleted expenses can be restored. Export a summary as text for the group chat, as a spreadsheet (CSV) or PDF – always free.

For those who want more:

Plus is available as a yearly subscription with the first month free or as a one-time purchase. The subscription runs for one year and renews automatically for another year unless you cancel before – any time in Google Play under “Subscriptions”. If the subscription ends, everything you’ve entered stays visible and exportable.
