Gaslight

Gaslight is a private messaging app built for people who value simplicity and privacy above everything else.

No sign-up. No email. No phone number. No account.

There are no usernames, phone numbers, or email addresses anywhere in Gaslight. Each person has a unique UserID — nothing tied to your real identity. Share it with someone you trust, they send a request, and you choose whether to accept. Until you do, no one can message you.

WHY GASLIGHT
★ No personal information No phone number or email to sign up. Your identity is yours alone.
★ End-to-end encryption Every message is encrypted on your device and can only be read by the person you're talking to — not us, not anyone in between.
★ Connection by consent People reach you only after you accept their request, so your inbox stays free of spam and strangers.
★ You hold the only key Your account is secured by a private recovery phrase that only you possess. It restores your identity and messages on a new device — and means no one, not even us, can access or reset your account for you.
★ Protected on your device Your recovery phrase is locked behind your device's own fingerprint or passcode.
★ Works offline Your conversations live on your device, so you can read your history even with no connection.
★ Private nicknames Label your contacts with names only you can see — stored on your device, never shared.
★ Full control Block or remove any contact at any time.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Create your identity and save your recovery phrase.
2. Share your UserID with someone you trust.
3. They send a request; you accept.
4. Start chatting — fully encrypted, fully private.

Gaslight is for people who want to talk freely, privately, and only with the people they choose. No ads. No tracking. No noise.
Your conversations. Your key. Your terms.
