About MoodDiary: A Square a Day
MoodDiary is a grid-paper journal that lives on your phone.
You don’t have to write much. Pick a color for how today went and fill in one square. If you have more to say, turn to the diary page.
[Page 1] 365 squares a year
One square a day, five moods in five shades. Once the page fills up you can see at a glance which months felt light and which stretch was rough. Missed a few days? Go back and fill them in.
[Page 2] Diary
Plain text, whatever comes to mind, and you can search it later (20 entries free).
[Page 3] Countdown
Birthdays, trips, exams, anniversaries — pin a card for the day you are looking forward to, pick a cover photo and watch it get closer. You get a reminder that morning (8 events free).
[Page 4] Stats
How many days you logged this month, your average mood, how long your streak is, and every month of the year side by side. You can also set yourself a habit challenge.
[Page 5] Reminders
One reminder a day at the time you choose. Reach 7, 30 or 100 days in a row and the journal celebrates with you.

Your data
No sign-up, no email, no phone number. Moods and diary entries are stored on your phone. If you turn on sync, one extra copy goes to your own Google Drive; we run no server and cannot read it. Mood tags come from matching words on the device, so your diary is never sent anywhere. No ads.
MoodDiary is a self-reflection tool, not a medical device, and cannot diagnose or treat any condition.
