Mera

Earn time. Spend it intentionally.

Mera helps you balance the time you spend on your phone. Useful apps add time to your balance. Distracting apps use it. You choose which apps belong in each group.

The exchange is simple: one minute in a Useful app earns one minute for your Distracting apps. Spend 20 minutes in an app you use to learn a language, for example, and add 20 minutes to your balance. Apps you leave unassigned do not affect it.

See your available balance and today's screen time by app. When your balance runs out, Mera App Guard helps you stop by returning you to the Home screen from your selected Distracting apps. You can add more time through Useful apps when you're ready.

Want your workouts to count too? Connect Health Connect to earn one minute for each eligible minute of a completed workout. Only workout time after you connect can earn balance. Open Mera or tap Check for workouts to check for new sessions.

Your choices stay yours. Change your app groups whenever you like, and choose whether to connect workouts. Mera works without an account, ads, or analytics. Your app usage and workout data stay on your device.

To track app time and apply limits, Mera needs Usage Access and its App Guard accessibility service. It uses the Android AccessibilityService API to detect which app is open and return you to the Home screen at zero balance. It does not read screen content or tap buttons. Tracking and limits begin only after you enable both accesses, and you can revoke them at any time.
