Linkaroo is a native client for wallabag — the open-source "read it later" service. Sign in to wallabag.it or your own self-hosted instance and Linkaroo brings your whole library to your phone, tablet and Chromebook: fast lists, a clean reader, offline reading, annotations, text-to-speech, and AI features powered by your own API key.

Truncated or paywalled saves? Linkaroo pulls the complete article from the original page — through a built-in browser when a login or a bot check is in the way — and writes it back to wallabag, so the full version shows up everywhere, including the web app.

ANNOTATE, LISTEN, TRANSLATE
• Highlight text and add notes; annotations sync back with ranges, so they appear in wallabag's own web reader
• Keyword highlight rules with colors, so the topics you care about pop out of the page
• Text-to-speech with a playback queue, background playback, lock-screen controls, adjustable speed, and automatic language detection with a second voice
• Translate whole articles into 50+ languages and keep them for offline reading

AI ON YOUR TERMS (BYOK)
• Use your own API key: OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, OpenRouter, Mistral, DeepSeek, Qwen, ChatGLM, Doubao, SiliconFlow or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint
• Summary built in, plus custom AI actions with your own prompt templates
• Nothing is sent to an AI provider unless you run an action
