Transit Moods ~Free Astrology

For each day you view, the app calculates the position of every selected planet for each of the 24 hours. It then checks whether any transit planet forms a significant aspect with any of your natal planets within your configured orb.

Transit Moods uses Western astrology to calculate how the current positions of planets in the sky (transits) interact with the positions of planets at the moment of your birth (natal chart). These interactions — called aspects are believed to influence your energy, mood, and life themes.

All calculations are performed entirely on your device using bundled ephemeris data files. No internet connection is required for forecasts. Your birth data never leaves your device.

Transit Moods is completely free to use, forever. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, and no subscription fees. It is open source software released under the MIT License.

All data is stored locally in an encrypted database on your device. Transit Moods does not transmit any personal data to external servers.

What’s new in Version 3.0?

🔹 Vedic Chart added
The app now includes a Vedic chart alongside the existing Western chart, so you can explore both approaches.

🔹 Improved chart graphics
Charts have been redesigned to make them cleaner, clearer, and easier to read.

🔹 Rahu & Ketu added
The Moon’s Nodes — Rahu and Ketu — are now included in the chart and calculations.

🔹 Elements, Modality & Hemispheres
The app now provides counts for:
• Fire, Earth, Air & Water
• Cardinal, Fixed & Mutable
• Northern, Southern, Eastern & Western hemispheres

The app remains completely free, ad-free, subscription-free, and fully offline.

I'm a software developer, not an astrologer. I created this app as a tool for exploring planetary patterns and calculations. How you interpret and use the information is completely up to you — whether for astrology study, self-observation, daily reflection, planning, or spiritual exploration.
