Extimeout: Keep Screen On

Extimeout is a simple Android utility that temporarily extends your screen timeout. Choose a duration or Always on, keep your screen available for what you're doing, then return to the timeout you were using before.

Sometimes Android's normal screen timeout is simply too short.
Whether you're following instructions, reading a recipe, working from a document or keeping information visible, Extimeout lets you extend the screen timeout without permanently changing your phone's settings.

Use Extimeout the way you need it:
• Choose a timed extension.
• Select Always on for an open-ended session.
• See when an extension is active.
• Restore your normal timeout whenever you're finished.
Extimeout is designed to keep the controls simple and your normal Android settings intact.

Back to normal when you're done.
Extimeout remembers your previous screen timeout before changing it.
When a session ends normally, it restores your previous setting. If Android restricts an extension or interrupts restoration, Extimeout provides status information and recovery guidance.
Your normal screen timeout shouldn't become something you have to remember and reset manually after every task.

One tap when you need it.
Add Extimeout to Android Quick Settings for convenient access.
Start your configured extension with a tap, then tap again to restore your normal timeout.
An active-session notification keeps the session visible and provides another way to restore your settings.
