Start by ticking the staples you already keep and they are added in one go. After that, quick add takes a name and an amount and stays open for the next item, so a whole shelf goes in without the keyboard ever closing. Add by voice or by scanning a barcode when that is quicker.

Set a minimum for the things you never want to run out of — rice, coffee, nappies, whatever it is in your house. Anything at or below its minimum is flagged, and one tap turns all of them into a shopping list. Tick items off in the shop and the quantities flow straight back into your stock, so the count is correct before you have finished unpacking. Search and sort keep a long list usable, and every row tells you which shelf the item is on.
