About Current Kelp
One small spore. A sea of possibility.
Current Kelp is a 2D ocean puzzle about guiding a drifting spore through a kelp garden. Your spore moves on its own. Swipe from a kelp node toward an exit before it arrives to shape the next current.
Gather nutrients in order: 1, 2, then 3. Reach the coral bed to complete the journey, while steering clear of the whirlpool. You begin with three protective membranes; a collision costs one and returns you to your last collected nutrients.
Read the tide
Solid lines show default routes. Dashed lines mark the temporary currents you set. An ordinary temporary current lasts for one passage. A Kelp Knot can hold a chosen current for two passages.
A little journey beneath the tide
Explore one carefully arranged garden, with layered paper-style sea life, a glowing spore and an underwater soundscape. A guided first swipe introduces the controls. Pause to plan, look ahead on a smaller screen, or restart the journey.

Complete the route, see your score and return to the garden for another tide. Your best score and sound preference are saved on your device.
