About Spool Scout
Every pull changes what comes next.
Spool Scout is a portrait puzzle game set inside a warm wooden ribbon cabinet. A folded ribbon holds twelve embroidered symbols, and your paper order asks for ten of them in sequence. Only the current left or right end can be pulled.
Match the next symbol to remove it and reveal a new endpoint. A wrong choice leaves the ribbon unchanged and costs one of your three knots. Finish the order before your knots run out.
PLAN BOTH ENDS
Flower, star, leaf, moon, heart and sun stitches make each ribbon easy to read by shape as well as color. When both ends match, the choice is yours—but the next exposed symbol matters.
A GLIMPSE AHEAD
Use a Spool Peek to reveal two directions along a feasible path. It is used only when a valid two-step hint can be shown.
TWELVE CABINETS
Complete cabinets in order to unlock all twelve. Return to unlocked cabinets and improve your saved scores. Each correct pull earns points, with an extra bonus for every four consecutive matches.
TAKE YOUR TIME
There is no countdown. A short interactive introduction explains the first pulls, and you can pause or restart a cabinet. Music and sound effects have separate controls, and a reduced-motion setting softens the animation.
