UpTakes Video Camera

The camera built for sideline parents, coaches, and anyone who hates missing the moment.

Lift your phone — UpTakes starts recording.
Lower it — UpTakes stops.
That's it.

No buttons to fumble for. No record screen to find. No "did I get that?" panic. Just raise your phone and capture the goal, the swing, the dance recital, the speech, the first steps. UpTakes catches it.

WHY UPTAKES IS DIFFERENT

🎯 PATENTED GESTURE CONTROL
Our patented motion-detection technology starts recording the moment you lift your phone toward the action and stops the moment you lower it. Hands-free starts, hands-free stops. Recording becomes muscle memory.

⚡ INSTANT REVIEW, INSTANT DECISION
After every clip, UpTakes shows you what you just captured with a thumbnail and a countdown timer. Keep it, delete it, or let auto-mode handle it. No more sorting through a camera roll full of misfires after the game.

🔒 YOUR VIDEOS STAY YOURS
UpTakes saves every recording directly to your phone's Photos. Nothing uploads. Nothing syncs to a server. We don't have copies of your videos and we never will. Privacy isn't a feature — it's the foundation.

🔋 BUILT FOR LONG GAMES
Native Android performance with smart battery management. Record youth soccer matches, basketball tournaments, and dance recitals from start to finish without watching your battery die at halftime.

PROBLEMS UPTAKES SOLVES

📦 STORAGE BLOAT
Stop letting bad clips pile up. Review every take immediately and decide what's worth keeping. Auto-delete mode is even faster — only the takes you actively save are kept.

😩 POST-EVENT EDITING FATIGUE
You shouldn't have to spend Sunday night reviewing 200 clips from Saturday's game. Make the keep-or-delete decision the moment you record. Done.

⏱️ RECORDING LAG
Phone in pocket → fumble for app → tap record → miss the play. With UpTakes, the lift IS the record button. The clip starts before you've even framed the shot.

🤝 STAGE FRIGHT FOR THE PARENT FILMING
Stop trying to record AND watch at the same time. UpTakes lets you focus on being present. Lift the phone when something happens. Lower when it's done. Watch the rest with your own eyes.
