Unomi: Anonymous Chat

unomi is an anonymous chat app for one-to-one conversations with new people. Share a story, ask a question or talk about your day without creating an account or a public profile.

A new person. A new conversation.
Want to talk to strangers and hear a different perspective? Start a random text chat and see where the conversation goes. You can end a conversation whenever you choose and search for someone new.

Find a conversation that fits
Choose your preferences for your chat partner’s gender, age group and language. Matching takes both people’s preferences into account.

Chat without signing up
Set your age, gender and the languages you speak, then start searching. There is no public profile to build or profile photo to upload.

Connect through a shared language
Select one or more languages for your conversations. Meet people you can understand and talk about everyday life, interests or something on your mind.

Share photos and videos on your terms
Send photos and videos during your chat. Incoming media stays hidden until you tap to open it, and videos do not play automatically.

Stay in control
Leave a chat at any time, report inappropriate behavior and block users you do not want to meet again.

Free access and optional paid subscriptions are available. Limits may apply to new conversations. Subscription features and terms are shown in the app.

unomi is for users aged 18 and over.
