Star Strike: Space Shooter

A vertical space shooter among the stars. Your ship fires on its own; your job is to fly, to be in the right place at the right time and to pick up the power orbs that drop.

THE WEAPON FAN — EIGHT STEPS
Every power orb moves your weapon one step up, from a single shot to a doubled fan. Take a hit and you drop one step; get hit a second time within 30 seconds and you fall back to the bottom. The top steps take more than one orb, so you have to bank them. Easy to climb, hard to keep.

27 LEVELS, 3 THEMES — AND LONGER LEVELS
Three space scenes, nine levels each. Levels are three times longer now, so there is room to grow your weapon. Mid-level bosses are scattered through the longer runs, separate from the one waiting at the end. A mini boss closes levels 3 and 6, and the theme boss waits at level 9. Bosses are drawn from a pool, so replaying a level can put a different hull in front of you.

SIGNATURE BOSS ATTACKS
Sentinel, Lancer, Broodmother, Rampart, Dreadnought, Corona and Warden — each carries its own name and opens a signature attack as its health drops: a 360-degree ring of shots, rotating spiral arms, or a laser column that warns before it burns. Every attack leaves a way out; you have to find it.

THE HANGAR — 6 SHIPS
Clearing levels earns credits, and credits buy new ships in the hangar. Each ship differs in exactly one way: one carries an extra life, one flies faster, one fires more often, one holds its shield longer, one pulls power orbs in from further away. There are no real-money purchases; every ship is unlocked by playing.

ENDLESS MODE
No levels, no finish line. As your score crosses the thresholds the scene changes and the pressure grows. Your best score is stored on the device.

ENEMIES DO NOT LEAVE THE SCREEN
They hold the upper band, patrol it and dive at you. An enemy you failed to kill does not drift away — sooner or later you have to deal with it.

THREE CONTROL SCHEMES
• Tilt: lean the phone, the ship follows
• Touch and drag: the ship goes where your finger is
• Buttons: classic directional pads
You can switch schemes at any time in Settings.
