The Divine Child, also known as the Divine Child of Bogotá or Divine Child Jesus, is a 20th century wooden religious statue of the infant Jesus, originally from Bogotá, Colombia. A cross that was originally on the back was removed when Father Giovanni Rizzo purchased it.
The 17 centimeter high statue with outstretched arms and wearing a traditional pink tunic or tunic has an inscription. "I will reign" ("I will reign") at its base. It is one of the most popular religious images in Colombia. Especially among Roman Catholics and it is said to have miraculous powers of fertility and healing. Novenas and much more!
