Make your next app break a walking break.

Touch Grass is an app blocker that helps you pause distracting apps and earn screen time by walking. Choose the apps you want to restrict, set a step goal, and complete a walking session to unlock a timed break.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Choose the apps you want to take a break from.
2. Set your walking step target.
3. When a selected app is blocked, start a walking session in Touch Grass.
4. Carry your phone and walk toward your goal.
5. Complete the goal to temporarily unlock your selected apps. Restrictions return when the unlock timer ends.

Track steps recorded through your walking sessions, review your activity, and build a streak over time.

FRIENDLY COMPETITION
Compare step totals on global and city leaderboards. Your profile and walking progress help you see where you stand.

PERMISSIONS AND SETUP
Touch Grass uses physical activity access to count steps, Usage Access to detect selected apps, and permission to display over other apps to show the blocking screen. A foreground service keeps app restriction monitoring active, with a notification while it runs. App visibility lets you choose applications to restrict.

Step detection depends on your phone's sensors and how you carry it. Account sync and leaderboards require an internet connection. Signed-in profile and walking-session data sync to our backend to support these features.
