Torry Tor VPN

Torry connects your phone to the Tor network. Torry uses Android's VPN service (VpnService) to route supported traffic from your device or selected apps through Tor. The connection from your device to the Tor entry relay or selected bridge is encrypted. For internet destinations, websites generally see the Tor exit relay's IP address instead of yours.

Connecting
Tap Connect, review Torry's VPN disclosure, and approve Android's VPN connection request. Torry is free and requires no account or sign-up. While connected, the home screen shows the countries of the relays on your route. You can request a new route at any time.

Choosing Apps
Route supported device traffic through Tor or select individual apps. Excluded apps continue using your normal connection.

Exit Location
Choose an exit-country preference, or leave it on Fastest to let Tor choose automatically. Availability depends on the Tor network.

Connection Types
Torry supports bridges including Snowflake, built-in bridges (obfs4), Meek and custom bridges. If you're not sure which to use, you can enter your country to request a connection suggestion.

Seed Mode
Optionally turn your phone into a Snowflake proxy to help people on restricted networks connect to Tor. See how many connections you've helped make possible. Seed Mode forwards other users' encrypted Tor traffic; it does not route your own browsing or make your device a Tor exit relay. Your IP address and connection information are used by Snowflake participants to establish these connections. Do not use Seed Mode if you live in a highly censored country.

Privacy and limitations
Torry does not send your browsing history or traffic contents to a Torry logging service or use your traffic for advertising. Tor relays and transport providers process connection information to carry traffic. Local diagnostic logs remain on your device unless you share them. The optional bridge QR scanner decodes images on your device.

Tor may be slower than a direct connection, and some apps or sites may block Tor traffic. Signing in to an account can identify you to that service. Excluded apps are outside the VPN. Use HTTPS for encryption between a Tor exit relay and a website. See our privacy policy for details.
