Speaker Test - Stereo L R

Just got new earphones, earbuds, or a used speaker? The first thing to check is whether left and right actually work. Playing music won't tell you — the channels blend together. Speaker Test plays pure, isolated tones so you can hear exactly what each side is doing.

[ WHAT YOU CAN TEST ]

● Left / Right Channels
Big L and R buttons play sound through one channel at a time. An auto-alternate mode cycles L → R → L hands-free, so you can just listen and confirm.

● Stereo vs Mono
Hear the difference between true stereo (should sound wide) and mono (should sound centered) — useful for spotting a channel that's silently failing.

● Phase Check
A feature most speaker test apps don't have. Two correctly wired speakers play in phase and the bass sounds full. If one is wired backwards, the bass can sound thin or hollow when compared side by side — a quick way to catch reversed speaker wiring without any tools.

● Frequency Sweep
Play a tone that sweeps from 20Hz to 20kHz to get a rough sense of where your speaker struggles — listen for cutouts or distortion at any point in the range.

● Speaker Cleaning
Push water out of your speaker grille with a loud low-frequency tone — the same principle used by smartwatches after getting wet.

[ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE ]

Turn your volume down before starting the frequency sweep or the cleaning tone — both play loud sounds and can be uncomfortable, especially with headphones or earbuds on. High frequencies in particular can be unpleasant at high volume. The cleaning feature is not guaranteed to remove all water from your device — dry it with a cloth as well if needed.
