WILDLIFE YOU CAN LOOK FOR
Grizzly Bear, Mountain Goat, Bighorn Sheep, American Black Bear, Moose and Elk are the animals most visitors hope to see. All 243 species in the park are in the guide, from Bald Eagle to American Pika.
WHERE TO GO
Going-to-the-Sun Road (49.6 mi, about 2 hours) and Inside North Fork Road (30.8 mi) are the classic wildlife drives. Every stop along the way is covered — Hidden Lake Overlook, Jackson Glacier Overlook, Oberlin Bend, Bird Woman Falls Overlook and McDonald Creek Overlook. You'll also find Apgar Campground, Many Glacier Campground and Two Medicine Campground, plus West Glacier Entrance, St. Mary Entrance and Two Medicine Entrance — each with photos, facilities and tips.

Does it work without a signal? Yes. Map, species guide and sightings log all work fully offline once downloaded.
Do I need to plan ahead? No. Open any drive and see its length, driving time, surface and which animals are seen along it most often.
Is it useful before I go? Yes. Read up at home, and your sightings diary carries over between visits.
