Fraxy Construction Calculator

Fraxy is a construction calculator built around the tape measure. Type feet, inches and fractions the way you read them, add, subtract, multiply and divide, then turn the numbers into a concrete or drywall shopping list. Everything is calculated on your device and works offline. No account and no subscription.
Use it as a feet and inches calculator, a fraction calculator for tape-measure math, a concrete calculator for slabs and footings and a drywall calculator for a room. Made for contractors, carpenters, builders and DIY projects.
FEET, INCHES AND FRACTIONS
• Tape-measure keypad: enter a length such as 5' 7-3/8" in one go
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide lengths. Multiply lengths to get area and volume.
• Fractions are calculated exactly and rounded only for display
• Length results show as a fraction and as a decimal
• Tap the chip on the result to round to 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 or 1/64 of an inch. A rounded result is marked with ≈ and shown with its exact value.
• Imperial or metric, light or dark theme, your choice
CONCRETE CALCULATOR
• Shapes: slab, footing, wall, column and steps
• Two answers at once: ready-mix in cubic yards, rounded up to your order step (1/4 or 1/2 yd³), and how many 40, 60 or 80 lb concrete bags you need
• Volume in cubic feet, cubic yards and cubic meters, with and without waste
• Set your default waste and bag size in Settings
• Optional unit prices for ready-mix and bags, priced separately
DRYWALL CALCULATOR
• Enter the room: length, width and height. Hang the walls, the ceiling or both.
• Subtract door and window openings by size and count. One tap adds a standard 3' × 6' 8" door.
• Choose 4x8, 4x10 or 4x12 sheets
• Get the number of sheets, screws, joint compound and joint tape, with waste included
• Optional unit prices with a cost total
SEE HOW IT WAS CALCULATED
Open How it's calculated on any result to see the formula, the values you entered, the steps and the constants used, such as bag yield and waste. Assumptions are labeled as assumptions. The calculation engine is tested against a set of hand-checked cases. Check it against your own numbers before you order.
PROJECTS
• Save a result to Projects on your device and give it a name
• Edit a saved concrete or drywall project, or open a saved length in the Calculator
• Share a result or a project as plain text in a message or an email
ADS AND PRICE
Fraxy shows ads. There are no ads while you type or calculate: the Calculator, the input forms and Settings never show one. A banner appears only on the Concrete and Drywall result screens and in Projects. There are no full-screen ads. One optional purchase, Remove ads, turns the banners off. You pay once. It is not a subscription, and it needs no account. Restore brings the purchase back on a new device with the same Google Play account.
Fraxy has no accounts, no cloud sync and no subscription.
