Tengri VPN

Tengri VPN gives your Android phone an encrypted connection to an eligible VPN gateway. Choose WireGuard, OpenVPN, IKEv2 or Restricted networks · TLS/WebSocket where available.

Choose which apps use the VPN with split tunneling, save gateway favorites and use measured ping to help select a location. Available gateways and features depend on your account and administrator settings.

WhatsApp call mode is off by default. After your consent and Android notification-access permission, Tengri detects call-notification metadata and requests a VPN for your selected WhatsApp apps. Choose WireGuard (recommended) or TLS/WebSocket for restricted networks. All selected WhatsApp traffic uses the VPN while the automatic tunnel is active, including messages. Other apps keep their normal connection unless Android lockdown blocks them. An existing manual VPN remains in control.

Notification access is a broad Android permission. Tengri uses only WhatsApp package identity, category and notification flags; it does not read message text, caller names or contacts, record call audio, or send notification data to its servers. You can turn the feature off and revoke access at any time. Detection may be delayed or missed and connection changes may interrupt calls. Signaling before detection uses your normal network. Normal cellular/SIM calls are not routed by this feature. Tengri VPN is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.

Tengri uses Android VpnService to create encrypted tunnels between your phone and VPN gateways. Traffic excluded by split tunneling uses your normal network. The current tunnel configuration blocks IPv6. Android Always-on VPN and Block connections without VPN are system settings; configure them for system-level blocking when disconnected. Call mode requires Always-on/lockdown to be off.

An eligible Tengri account is required. Ping measures latency, not download speed. Performance and access on restricted networks are not guaranteed. Optional DNS filtering cannot block every advertisement.

Tengri retains account and operational security information; this is not a zero-log service. Security audit retention is up to three years. Read the privacy policy before using the service.
