OpenLid Piano: Learn & Play

Play a real grand piano anywhere, without an internet connection or an account.

OpenLid Piano puts the sound of a recorded concert grand on your phone or tablet and opens the lid, so you can watch the strings ring as you play.

SEE THE PIANO PLAY
• Each string vibrates when its note sounds, and its damper lifts while you hold the key
• The sustain pedal lifts every damper, just like on a real grand
• The chord you play is named as you play it: C major, Am7, G7/B and more
• Three finishes: Ebony, Walnut and Pearl

LEARN SONGS
• Notes fall onto the keys: play each one as it reaches the line
• Wait mode stops at every note until you play it
• Play along keeps time and scores your accuracy
• Listen mode plays the song for you first
• Slow it down to 50% or 75% while you learn
• Earn up to three stars on each song: Twinkle Twinkle, Ode to Joy, Jingle Bells, Happy Birthday, Für Elise, Minuet in G and more

A KEYBOARD MADE FOR FINGERS
• Touch strength: play near the front of a key for louder notes, near the back for softer ones
• Choose your key size: bigger keys or more octaves
• True multitouch for chords and fast passages
• Glide across the keys for a glissando
• Landscape: up to three octaves in one row. Portrait: two rows
• Move across the full range of a grand piano, C1 to C8
• Optional note names on the keys
