Unlike a dictionary, this Visual Thesaurus for Tamil is providing words related to core concept in different shades of meaning (connotations). Through this thesaurus, one can find how many meanings are available to a single word.

The Visual Thesaurus for Tamil has been developed for Modern Tamil words and not for old Tamil words and words are not in usage. Each word has number of meanings and each colour will indicate core concept of meaning.
