HONEST ABOUT LIMITS
Changing the codec is not an official Android feature for apps. This app asks the Bluetooth system directly; most phones accept it, but some only accept it from system software. If yours does, the app says so clearly and shows you how to change the codec in Developer Options instead.

PRIVACY
Everything happens on your device. The app needs the Nearby devices permission to read your paired audio devices — it never scans for devices and never uses your location. Your device names are never sent anywhere.
