About Storm Catcher
Storm Catcher is an offline atmospheric strategy game set at an experimental weather station high in the mountains. Read each forecast, choose a field loadout, and then operate the station through dangerous storm shifts.
Watch layered cloud movement and charge cues before lightning strikes. Raise the correct rod at the right moment, manage tower heat, route captured energy through Research Core, Battery Bank, Shield System, and Emergency Sink, and use the breaker or emergency discharge before the grid overloads.
The campaign contains 25 shifts across five chapters. New storm patterns and hazards appear gradually, including crosswinds, hail bursts, static surges, double strikes, ground faults, sensor jams, tower heat, and emergency blackouts. Six storm presets change wind, lightning density, hail pressure, visibility, and timing.
Before each shift, configure modules such as Lightning Rod, Ground Coil, Capacitor Bank, Wind Brace, Hail Shield, Surge Breaker, and Sensor Mast. Earn research points from completed shifts and improve six technology branches that change real station parameters without automating play.
Storm Catcher includes a local Storm Archive, achievements, a replayable tutorial, sound and haptic controls, Reduced Motion, and reset progress. Everything works locally on the device with no login, no ads, no purchases, no analytics, and no required internet connection.
