• Physics: accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, level and inclinometer, pendulum to measure g, stopwatch started by a sound
• Acoustics: sound level meter, spectrum analyser (FFT), tuner, tone generator
• Light & colour: light meter, colorimeter with absorbance (Beer–Lambert law)
• Earth sciences: geological compass (dip and dip direction), geological time, live earthquakes of the week, mineral identification with the Mohs scale
• Weather: barometer and altimeter, dew point and cloud base
• Biology: heart rate with camera and flash, reaction time
• Chemistry: periodic table of the 118 elements, molar mass, dilutions
• Astronomy: Moon phases and the Sun, the International Space Station in real time, space weather and auroras
đź““ A NOTEBOOK THAT FOLLOWS THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD
Every experiment is a page in 10 steps: question, hypothesis, variables, materials, procedure, prediction, data, result, conclusion and improvements. Record data from the instruments, write your measurements in a table, see the graph with the best-fit line and the error from the expected value. Then export a PDF report or the data as CSV.
🧪 GUIDED EXPERIMENTS
Measure gravity with a pendulum, discover the inverse square law with a lamp, find the speed of sound by blowing over a bottle, weigh the air on the stairs, compute the b-value of this week's earthquakes… Every guide asks for your hypothesis first and shows the expected result only afterwards.
🤖 AI TUTOR (OPTIONAL)
A virtual lab teacher reads your page and helps you reason about hypotheses, sources of error and your next experiments. It doesn't do the experiment for you: it makes you think.
🏅 LEVELS AND BADGES
Complete experiments, explore every bench, keep your daily streak and find the secrets hidden in the lab. A refuted hypothesis counts as much as a confirmed one: that's how science moves forward.
đź”’ YOUR NOTEBOOK STAYS YOURS
Works without an account and mostly offline. Experiments, measurements and photos stay on your phone, with backups to the private folder of your Google Drive or to a file. The camera and the microphone are used only to measure: no photo or audio is saved or sent.
Made for high school and university students, teachers, makers and science enthusiasts. Available in English, Italian, French, Spanish, German and Portuguese.
Note: phone sensors are not certified instruments. The heart rate is an educational experiment, not a medical device.
