Make your photos square without cropping, adding blurry side-bars or squashing important parts of the image (such as people).

Samsung users please note: You will need the Simple Gallery app, because the new Samsung gallery photo app currently has some problems which will prevent this app from loading images properly.

Using a special algorithm known as 'seam carving', sometimes called 'context aware scaling', SquarePix intelligently reshapes photos to square, but keeps the important looking areas without squashing or stretching.

You can also mark areas as important, so they won't get squashed when resizing (such as faces or people). It's perfect for taking scenery shots and resizing them to square for insta, but without cropping or adding those weird blurry sidebars.
