Speak Stream

Speak Stream is a place to practise languages through real conversation. Meet people learning the same language, start a 1-on-1 session, or join a group room when you want more voices in the conversation. Build confidence by using the language regularly, at your own pace. With Speak Stream, you can:

• Practise 1-on-1 — Find a conversation partner and speak live together.
• Join group practice rooms — Create or join a room by language and level to practise with other learners.
• Stay connected in language chats — Talk with your language community, share messages, GIFs, stickers, clips, and useful moments from your day.
• Discover community events — Find upcoming meetups and events, join them, and chat with other participants.
• Play and practise — Take a lighter break with games and short activities that keep you close to the language.
• Follow your progress — Track your speaking activity and build a daily practice habit over time.
• Use School Desk with your school — If your school uses Speak Stream, follow its updates, polls, resources, and events in one shared feed, with school chat just a tap away.

Whether you want to speak more confidently, find regular conversation partners, or simply make practice part of your routine, Speak Stream gives you a welcoming space to use the language with real people. Start practising today.
