Calafia is a nickname for the microbuses found on the streets of Tijuana, Mexico, the same streets where family vendors serve the delicious tacos that are our inspiration. And if you go to a taqueria in Tijuana you won't find enchiladas and posole, only delicious, handmade tacos. That's why we don't consider ourselves a Mexican restaurant—we’re an authentic Tijuana taqueria.
