Only two projects can ever be Active at once — a Primary and a Secondary, decided by the order you drag them. Try to activate a third, and the app blocks it. Everything else waits in your Backlog until you actually finish something.

FOUR LANES FOR DIFFERENT KINDS OF LIFE
• Obligations — short tasks (a haircut, filing taxes, an errand for work) with optional checklists and a requestor field, so you can track what's yours vs. what's for someone else.
• Projects — multi-month goals with objectives, a step checklist, a dated activity log, and a dedicated Learnings/Achievements section.
• Monitor — periodic check-ins (weight, finances, anything you track on a cycle). Set a period once, and LifeLanes computes when you're next due based on your last logged entry — no manual reminders to set.
• Leisure — the stuff that makes life worth living: trips, shows, treks, calls with friends — with its own customizable categories.

LifeLanes is for people who've tried task managers, planners, and habit trackers and found they all let you fool yourself into "productivity" without ever finishing anything. It won't let you.
