About Runewall: Maze Tower Defense

Runewall is an offline maze tower defense game where you build the path yourself. Drop rune blocks to bend the monsters' road into a long, winding maze, put towers on your walls and keep the horde off your Beacon. Every run is a fresh roguelike run.

BUILD THE MAZE
Most tower defense games hand you a fixed road. Here you build it. Monsters come out of the portal and walk to your Beacon, and you decide which way. Every block you place changes their route, and you see the new path the moment you drop it. They always need a way through, so make it a long one. One good block can double the walk. In this TD the maze is the strategy.

TOWERS ON YOUR WALLS
Nine towers sit on top of your blocks: Arrow Tower, Frost Spire, Arcane Orb, Poison Cauldron, Boulder Catapult, Hex Totem, Gale Shrine, Thunder Spire and Mirror Obelisk. Each has two upgrade paths. Mix elements for reactions: shatter frozen monsters, conduct lightning through a crowd, pop hexburst bubbles. If a wave still slips through, light the Beacon Flare.

A NEW ROGUELIKE RUN EVERY TIME
A run is three stages. After each wave you pick one of three rewards: new blocks, gold or a tower blueprint. Elite monsters drop treasure chests, and every chest is a relic pick. There are 38 relics to stack into combos. Before the boss fight, the boss offers you a bargain. The gift is real. So is the catch.

MONSTERS THAT BREAK YOUR PLAN
Hornets come in by air. The Quake Ogre stomps and knocks out towers packed too close together. The Blink Imp jumps ahead along the path when it gets hurt. Goblin Raiders arrive in crowds. Then the bosses: the Mushroom King, Grumbleback the Frost Yeti and Scorchwing the Sky Terror.

NEW: THORNWOOD AND RIMECLEFT
Six new maps that change the routing puzzle. Paths cross brooks and frozen fords, two portals feed two lanes at once, and a second portal can wake mid-stage. On the boss maps your Beacon fires back. Close the game mid-run and the run is still there when you come back.

PLENTY TO COME BACK FOR
• A realm map: Mossvale, Thornwood, Frostfell, Rimecleft and the Night realms, each with Casual, Normal and Veteran
• Daily Challenge, a Weekly gauntlet, Endless mode and 10 Trials
• Leaderboards for highest Endless wave, longest maze and best Daily run
• Four heroes, a Codex, 40 trophies and a mastery tree

OFFLINE TOWER DEFENSE
No Wi-Fi needed. The whole game runs offline; only the leaderboards need a connection. Free to play with ads and optional in-app purchases.

Your Beacon is waiting. Build a meaner maze.
