ROOM is a digital tool designed to support your personal development and wellbeing while at university. Collect objects by doing short interactive exercises that allow you to reduce stress, boost your mood, and change the way that you approach problems.
The app includes a variety of activities that teach science-based techniques used by psychologists to help people build their wellbeing. The app is being researched and scientifically tested at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
Through the app, you can:
Practice ways to deal with unhelpful thoughts or worries and handle emotions
Train your self-compassion
Increase positive emotions
Filter out the noise and focus on things that matter to you
Improve your mindfulness
Learn practical breathing and relaxation techniques for optimal recovery
Get to know yourself better, and get personalized suggestions
Spending a small portion of your time learning and using these techniques can help you better manage stress, build your resilience, reduce your perfectionism and keep you performing at your best!
Exercises
The app contains short (3 - 10 minute) interactive and audio-guided exercises from CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and Positive Psychology amongst other therapeutic approaches, making sure that there is something for someone.
Map yourself
Get to know yourself through daily check-ins or taking short quizzes that ‘map’ out how you’re doing and your behavioral patterns. Get personalized recommendations based on the unique you.

Get recommendations on what to do based on what you like, and how you’re doing right now!
