Mind Scanner 6

Mind Scanner 6 is a private, local-first app for administering and scoring psychological questionnaires. It is built for psychologists, therapists, counsellors and clinics that want structured assessments without sending sensitive health data to a cloud.

HOW IT WORKS
• The clinician runs Mind Scanner 6 on a phone, tablet or Windows PC.
• The client opens the app on their own phone and scans a one-time QR code.
• The two devices pair over an encrypted, authenticated Bluetooth Low Energy link. The clinician confirms a six-digit code before anything is shared.
• The clinician assigns questionnaires, the client answers them, and results are scored instantly on the clinician's device.
• No second device? Use the clearly labelled single-device supervised mode and hand your device to the client.

KEY FEATURES
• Automatic scoring for established instruments such as PHQ-9, GAD-7, DASS-21, WHO-5, AUDIT, AUDIT-C and IPIP-50 (Big Five).
• Searchable catalog of 245 instruments in 23 categories: depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, personality, wellbeing, substance use and more.
• Questionnaire engine with single and multiple choice, Likert scales, numeric and text answers, conditional questions and time limits.
• Clear results with score ranges, interpretation, safety notices and suggested next steps.
• Patient records with full assessment history.
• PDF reports and password-protected, encrypted record export and restore.
• Import licensed content packs for instruments you are authorised to use.
• Three languages: English, Persian (full right-to-left layout, Persian digits and Solar Hijri calendar) and Danish.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
• No account, no server, no cloud, no analytics and no ads.
• The app makes no Internet connections. The Android app does not even request the Internet permission.
• All data is stored in an encrypted database (ChaCha20-Poly1305). The key is kept in the Android Keystore or Windows Data Protection (DPAPI).
• Clinician PIN, optional biometric unlock, auto-lock and screenshot blocking.
• App data is excluded from cloud backups and device transfer.
• Erase all data at any time from Settings.
