About Contraction Timer: Labor Log
Contraction timer and editable labor log: correct a missed record, keep the details, and enter your own recorded rule.
▶ CORRECT THE LOG, KEEP THE DETAILS
• Add a missed contraction later, or edit the start and end of a saved record. Choose a day and adjust the hour, minute and second with buttons.
• Record intensity as Not rated, Mild, Moderate or Strong, and add a note to each contraction.
• Delete a record with confirmation, then use Undo if you change your mind. Statistics are recalculated from the remaining records.
• See Duration, Spacing and Rest as separate values. Duration runs from start to end; Spacing runs from one start to the next; Rest runs from the previous end to the next start.
• Records added later carry an Added later label and a + mark on the timeline.
▶ YOUR RECORDED RULE
• Enter the spacing limit, minimum duration and observation window your healthcare provider gave you in Settings. The fields begin blank.
• A yellow banner appears when the recorded contractions match your saved rule. The rule checks the recorded sequence across the observation window, including whether the latest record is recent enough.
• An unmatched rule does not decide whether to seek care. Follow your healthcare provider's advice and contact them whenever you are concerned.
▶ START, STOP AND REVIEW
• Tap START when a contraction begins and STOP when it ends. The lower timer panel is the touch target.
• View a timeline and averages for the last 60 minutes, plus the latest contraction and elapsed rest time.
• Open History to review saved sessions and their records. End a session with confirmation, or resume a saved session when no session is active.
• The active timer screen keeps the display awake while it is visible.
▶ HAND OVER THE DETAILS
• Open Share last-hour summary from the timer or History. Share text with timestamps, duration, spacing, rest, intensity and notes.
• Show a QR containing a compact last-hour summary in UTC. Use shared text for full timestamps and notes.
• Create a JSON backup bundle with records, settings and deletion history. Select a complete backup file to merge saved revisions while preserving deletions.
▶ GOOD TO KNOW
• Stop timing before changing that session's records. Records must end after they start, must not overlap and must not be in the future. Notes accept up to 10,000 characters.
• Timing restored across a reboot, or without native clock evidence, is marked Estimated. Unconfirmed estimated measurements do not count toward a rule match.
• Backup file selection accepts bundles up to 16 MiB. Exports are created in the app; old share copies are pruned. Keep a shared copy for later use.
• Records are stored in the app. Usage, crash and advertising data are also processed.
• This app is a timer and log. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Always follow your healthcare provider's advice and contact them whenever you are concerned.
