X•SAR Urban

RF Intelligence for Close-Proximity Search & Rescue as AI-Powered SAR Gear in USAR Operations.

X•SAR Urban is an advanced Search and Rescue (SAR) application designed for close-proximity operations in urban and built environments.
Available for field searchers' Android handheld devices and compatible SAR drones / UAVs, X•SAR Urban adds an intelligent RF detection layer to existing Search and Rescue operations.
The technology helps teams detect and assess supported mobile-device RF signals that may be associated with a missing individual—even when that person is silent, injured, concealed from view, or beyond traditional visual or audible search range.

Intelligent RF Signal Detection
Urban environments can create complex Search and Rescue conditions.
Buildings, structures, obstacles, restricted visibility, and surrounding infrastructure can all make conventional searching more difficult.
X•SAR Urban provides an additional source of operational intelligence by processing detectable supported RF signals within the search environment.
Advanced algorithms automatically assess detected signals according to factors including signal strength and estimated proximity, helping search personnel prioritize areas for further investigation.

Field Searcher Handheld Capability
Compatible Android smartphones can operate as RF-enabled close-proximity search tools.
As field searchers move through an operational area, X•SAR Urban processes supported detectable signals and provides proximity-related RF intelligence directly to the search team.
This gives personnel another method of investigating the immediate environment when a missing individual cannot be located through visual or audible searching alone.

USAR Drone / UAV Capability
X•SAR Urban can also operate with compatible SAR drones and UAVs.
The drone and handheld capabilities perform different operational functions within the same X•SAR Urban application, allowing teams to deploy the technology according to the requirements of the search environment.
This creates a flexible combination of airborne and ground-based RF search capabilities.

Designed for Professional Response Teams
X•SAR Urban is designed for:
Search and Rescue organizations
Fire and rescue services
Emergency services
Public safety agencies
Municipalities and counties
Civil protection organizations
Emergency management organizations
Other authorized response teams

Another Intelligence Layer for the Search
X•SAR Urban is designed to complement existing Search and Rescue operations—not replace them.
By combining handheld and aerial RF detection with intelligent signal assessment, X•SAR Urban provides professional search teams with an additional source of information when operating in complex close-proximity environments.

X•SAR Urban — RF Intelligence for Close-Proximity Search.
X•SAR Urban is a supporting Search and Rescue technology. It does not replace trained SAR personnel, established search procedures, emergency communications, or other approved Search and Rescue technologies.
