How to sing two notes at once!
Overtone Singing – also known as Throat Singing – is a type of singing in which the singer manipulates the resonances created in the vocal tract in order to produce a melody.
From a base pitch created by the human voice the related harmonic overtones can be selectively amplified by changing the shape of the resonant cavities in the sinuses, forehead and mouth. This resonant tuning allows singers to create two tones at the same time.
